For many neurodivergent kids, connection starts with shared interests — and LEGO is the perfect bridge.
Our LEGO Social Club for ages 6–9 is a small, therapist-led social skills group designed for neurodivergent children, including those with ADHD, autism, and related profiles. This supportive, low-pressure environment uses collaborative building and guided play to help children practice social skills in a way that feels natural, engaging, and genuinely fun — not forced or scripted.
Through structured activities and therapist-supported interaction, children build skills in:
Turn-taking and flexible thinking
Communication and problem-solving
Perspective-taking and reading social cues
Managing frustration and navigating small conflicts
Growing confidence in group settings
Each session includes a mix of open-ended building, cooperative challenges, and gentle coaching to help children learn how to share ideas, listen to others, and adapt when things don’t go as planned. We focus on real-life social learning in the moment — helping kids build awareness, repair small misunderstandings, and experience success within a group.
Because the focus is on building together, social interaction feels safer and more predictable. Kids can connect side-by-side before face-to-face — a powerful entry point for children who may feel overwhelmed in more traditional social settings. This approach supports authentic connection and allows friendships to develop at a comfortable pace.
This is a warm, strengths-based space where children feel understood, supported, and gently encouraged to grow. Our goal is not just to teach social skills, but to help each child feel more confident, capable, and connected — both within the group and beyond.
